Meizu MX3 with 5.1-inch 1080p display, octa-core Exynos 5 processor announced

Meizu has just announced the MX3 in China after several rumors. It is the successor of the MX2 that we reviewed recently. The MX3 has a 5.1-inch (1800 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 415 PPI resolution, powered by a octa-core Exynos 5410 processor and runs on Flyme OS 3.0. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front and rear cameras can record videos at 1080p full HD resoulution at 30 fps. The phone has magnesium alloy built and stainless steel metal frame that reduces the weight of the phone. It has a dedicated Wolfson WM5102 audio chip and new Smart PA audio systems that offers enhanced audio output with powerful bass. It has Dirac HD audio technology with customized acoustic optimization for headphones. The new Flyme OS 3.0 has a New Smartbar adjustment on the bottom, Drop-down list, hover and system-level sliding menu and more. It has Cloud services including option to access online videos and music, option to track the phone and more.
